Mulder Electric is a small, growing electrical contracting company serving Western Michigan. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service, high-quality work, and positive company culture. We're looking to add a skilled Residential Apprentice Electrician to join us, there will also be opportunities for commercial work.

Job Summary:

As an Apprentice Electrician you will work with our experienced electricians to complete a variety of residential and light commercial electrical tasks. You will receive hands on training to learn the skills necessary to complete high quality and code compliant electrical installations, and make satisfied customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair residential and light commercial electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, lighting fixtures, and electrical panels.
Attend apprenticeship classes at night, and work towards obtaining a Journeyman Electrical License.
Safely work with a wide variety of hand and power tools.
Learn to troubleshoot electrical issues with help from our experienced electricians.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of documented experience as an electrical apprentice.
Active State of Michigan Apprentice Electrician license.
Be able to work at heights, in diverse weather, and lift heavy equipment.
Possess a good work ethic and positive attitude.
Demonstrate strong problem solving abilities and mechanical aptitude.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
